Angus Construction Training (ACT) group is a not for profit group which organises training for the local Construction community.

ACT was set up in 2007 by volunteers working in Construction to organise training collectively. The group is dedicated to helping Construction companies of all sizes organising training courses, events and dual packages which are cost effective and delivered locally. By joining together Members reduce the cost and amount of admin time arranging same.

A small one-off fee secures Life Membership. In 2012 ACT became a registered CITB Independent Training Group and receives funds to assist with the employment of a part time Administrator.

ACT Construction Ambassadors also are involved in local School Careers interventions promoting Careers in Construction both at Primary and Secondary levels.
